This activity makes it possible for two Special Needs Itinerant Preschool Teachers to go into Duplin County childcare and preschool settings to provide appropriate instruction for children and teachers. Because they go into childcare and preschool settings, children with special needs are able to remain in an inclusive environment. The teachers provide workshops for childcare providers to help them to learn how to identify, assist, and teach children with special needs.
